DROPLET
Droplet [Pingo] is an animated series that brings a small portion of Selvagem studies to children and young people of all ages, available in a total of 14 languages, including 6 Indigenous languages.
The DROPLETS are accompanied by free downloadable Selvagem notebooks with additional information, proposals for educational activities and activations for children and young people.
DROPLET 1 – SUN TRAVERSES ALL
All life is a child of the Sun. The unfolding from creation to the blossoming of human hands being able to make objects. Our responsibilities for being crossed by such a sublime and cosmic energy.
The first Droplet has the Sun at its centre and expresses the interactions of this cosmic force with life on the planet.
Cyanobacteria, mycelium, fish, algae, plants, human and non-human animals coexist and interact to form the web of life that covers the Earth and makes it our cosmic home. Ancestral or recent, invisible or visible, all living beings are contemporaries and share the same origin, animated by the light of the Sun.

SUN TRAVERSES ALL
In this notebook, you'll find myths of origins, cosmologies, astronomy, life sciences and suggestions for activities related to the elements present in the first Droplet, as well as links to broader content in our cycle that can help deepen your research and excite your curiosity.
PINGO 2 – WHERE LIFE ARISES
Deep within the world, life arises from the encounter with rays of sunlight.
Millions of years ago, some tiny beings learnt to transform light into food, air and the possibility of a world. From this encounter between the visible and the invisible came new possible worlds for us and all beings in the cosmos.
The second Droplet flows through plants and the deep connections that sustain life on Earth through photosynthesis. Whereas in the first episode of the series the Sun appears as the primordial force that animates all beings, now it arrives to illuminate how photosynthetic beings — algae, trees and forests — continue to lift the atmosphere and keep the sky suspended above us.
WHERE LIFE ARISES is dedicated to the journey that connects the sky to the leaves, just as it connects us to the universe, bringing together indigenous narratives, forest knowledge and life sciences into a single constellation.
