Nhe'ërÿ living forest
Therein dwells a portal of knowledge
Therein dwells a portal of knowledge
Of capitalist colonisation
That tries to turn everything into merchandise
Nhe'ërÿ, abode of knowledge and enchantment
Where spirits bathe
Where the lives of many peoples have woven forms of resistance
With sacred songs and prayers
All the beings that inhabit Nhe'ërÿ
The tree, the water, the heart in our body,
everything pulses.
Through the pulsing we feel emotional, we feel we are alive.
The pulse of each artist of the forest generates a being, generates a thought.
The Nhe'ërÿ forest invites us to awaken the pulsing.
We are always learning,
every day we are learning from each other.
Together, even at a distance, we are pulsating in the same energy
Spreading seeds in the face of this imbalance, the suffering of the earth.
This cosmovision and poetics of life is what guides us
And strengthens us every new day.
Praying people continue to chant good and beautiful words to wake up
Awaken
Cheer up
And calm the spirits that surround us.
With every new dawn, Nhamandu Tenonde, the Sun
Continues to illuminate and warm us
Honouring the little children
Who, with their purity and delicacy, insist on re-teaching us the practice of Good Living.
